Following the success of last year’s Volunteers Jobfair at Devonport JCP we are holding this year’s Volunteering Jobfair in the Discovery Café (opposite M&S Food hall above The Americano) on Tuesday 22nd May from 2pm – 4pm, in the City Centre.
We have 10 employers attending covering a wide range of volunteering opportunities for all capabilities (eg. St Lukes Hospice, Warehouse & shops, – perfect for those with no recent work on their CV’s or references, great for those with health conditions or disabilities as they can do as much or as little as they feel able, those with caring responsibilities or childcare restrictions, there should be something for everyone, with as many or as few hours available to suit.
Refreshments are available to purchase in this lovely café, who is also offering Voluntary Work Experience or volunteering placements within their café area.
It’s a great opportunity for your customers to attend to meet a wide range of employers offering VWE & Volunteering placements all in 1 place at the same time over just a couple of hours.
Parking is available & there are ramps for the less mobile.
Don’t forget to remind your customers to take their CV’s if they have them to give to the employers.
