Request to Improving Experiences of Care Network

The Devon and Cornwall Criminal Justice and Mental Health Partnership Board is looking at how best to engage with people with lived experience in the formation of its strategy and priorities. It would also like to invite people with lived experience of mental health and criminal justice to influence policy sharing their stories.
The board are contacting you through this network to ask if there are any existing groups who may be interested in becoming involved in this work.
Please email roslynn.azzam@nhs.net if you would like more information about the Partnership or are in touch with a group who may be interested in becoming involved. The board would like to get in touch initially to better understand each other’s work and look for opportunities to work together. We are open to discussions about how best to achieve this.

hi i am a member of Heads Count and i believe that we are already in discussion about criminal justice with a view to working with you. I hope this is progressing as i am keen to be involved.
On a more personal note i am a carer of a young man with mh issues and Autism who has experienced the courts and i would be more than happy to share our experiences and to help with any work around improvements.

Hi Chris, thanks for getting in touch – I’m pleased that you’re making your voice heard through Heads Count. If you know anyone else (or other organisations) who may be interested then please do pass their details to Roslynn (roslynn.azzam@nhs.net).
