The Prince’s Trust is launching Get Into Construction in Plymouth this November. Please get in touch if you are working with a young person who is interested in taking part. The poster for this programme is attached to this email and the full details are listed below:
Get Into Construction with Galliford Try will be running in Plymouth from Monday 6th November to Friday 1st December 2017.
This is a FREE practical training programme for young people aged 18-30 who are unemployed but work ready. It will give them the opportunity to gain their CSCS card and Level 1 Health and Safety, as well as 2 weeks practical experience on site.
Galliford Try are keen to bring hard-working and motivated young people into their workforce.
Suitable candidates will be invited to a taster day on Thursday 2nd November (location TBC).
The programme will be located across Plymouth, including Crownhill, Tamerton Folliat and Southway. Lunch and travel will be provided for the duration of the programme.
Please note that young people participating in this programme will require a good level of fitness and a good command of written English.
The easiest way to refer a young person is through our website or you can fill out a referral form and email it back to myself (attached above).
If you have any questions about this programme please contact me via email or on 07425632049.
Lastly, I am the new outreach executive in Plymouth, taking over from Kelly Crane. I would love to learn some more about the organisations supporting young people in Devon and Cornwall and how the Trust can work with you to improve that support. So if you would like to meet for a quick coffee & chat so I can introduce myself please contact me on the above number or email.
