The Tea Dance with a Twist! Events run once a month at Plymouth Guildhall from 1pm to 4pm. We ask for a contribution on entry from £1 to £5 per person. The dates for the upcoming events are detailed in the flyer attached below.

Take Out Option:

The Tea Dance Team will bring a Tea Dance event to your Care Home, this will include:

  • 1 Lead Practitioner
  • 2 or 3 Assistant Practitioners
  • One hour event
  • Combination of performance, teaching set dances, as well as the option for freestyle
  • Easily adapted to standing and seated

Delivery Option:

The Tea Dance Team will provide a dance workshop in your Care Home, this will include:

  • 1 Lead Practitioner
  • 1 Assistant Practitioner
  • We provide 45 minute to 1 hour sessions
  • Combination of demonstration and teaching set dances
  • Easily adapted to both seated and standing

The workshop vary in different dance styles. We will do a dance style and theme that is chosen by residents.
This could include:
Jazz, Tea Dance themed, culturally specific (Irish Dancing, Flamenco, etc) or even seasonal themed such as Spring or Christmas.
